LifeIndex is provided for entertainment, self-reflection, and educational purposes only.

Astrological readings are based on symbolic interpretations and should not be considered as factual predictions, professional advice, or guaranteed outcomes. Life outcomes are determined by many factors including personal choices, circumstances, and free will.

3. Eligibility

To use LifeIndex, you must:

Be at least 18 years of age
Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws

4. User Accounts

6. Biometric Data & Avatar Creation

If you choose to create a personalized AI avatar, additional terms apply:

6.1 Consent Requirement

Before creating an avatar, you must provide explicit consent for the collection and processing of your biometric data (facial image and voice recording). This consent is separate from these Terms and is collected through our biometric consent form.

6.2 Your Representations

By uploading a photo and voice recording, you represent and warrant that:

The photo and voice are of yourself only
You have the legal right to use the photo and voice
You are not uploading content of minors, celebrities, or third parties
The content does not violate any laws or third-party rights

6.3 Third-Party Processing

Avatar creation is powered by HeyGen Inc., a third-party AI video generation service. By creating an avatar, you acknowledge that your biometric data will be transferred to and processed by HeyGen in the United States.

6.4 Content Restrictions

We reserve the right to refuse or remove avatar content that:

Contains nudity or sexually explicit material
Depicts violence or harmful content
Violates intellectual property rights
Appears to be a celebrity or public figure (not the user)
Otherwise violates these Terms or applicable laws

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Content

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by LifeIndex and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.

7.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, voice recordings). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to use it solely for providing the Service to you.

7.3 Generated Content

AI-generated readings and videos created through the Service are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may share your readings but may not sell or commercially exploit them.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including:

Merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
Uninterrupted or error-free operation
Security of data transmission

Astrological readings are not predictions of future events. We make no claims about the accuracy or reliability of astrological interpretations. Any decisions you make based on readings are your sole responsibility.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

LifeIndex shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim
We are not liable for any decisions, actions, or consequences arising from your use of the Service or reliance on readings

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LifeIndex, its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

11. Payment Terms

LifeIndex offers both free and premium features. Premium features require payment and may be offered as:

11.2 Billing

By purchasing premium features, you authorize us to charge your payment method. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

11.3 Refunds

Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Digital content (readings, videos) that has been delivered is generally non-refundable.
